The safaris are arranged in Kuopio and Tahko, unless mentioned otherwise in the detailed safari description. The rates include warm driving overalls, shoes, gloves, balaclavas and helmets as well as driving- and safety instructions and other services of a professional guide. We are also happy to arrange meals in the outdoors or other extra services.
Snow safari
Duration: 2 hours or 25 km

This snowmobile safari covers an easy and beautiful route around nearby forest trails and on the frozen lake. No previous experience is needed. With the help of an experienced guide you will quickly learn to handle a snowmobile. On the break you can relax a bit and enjoy sausages cooked over a campfire.
Landscape tour
Duration: 3 hours or 40 km

This easy but diverse tour includes driving on a frozen lake and in the woods on varied terrain. No previous experience is needed, though. On a break we will admire the tranquillity of the forest and have snacks and coffee prepared in a traditional way over the campfire.
Adventure safari

Participants on this safari will get to amaze the beauty of the snowy forest, drive on varied terrain and have a real boost of adrenaline! After a short drive everyone, one at a time, will abseil from a cliff using a rope. This is challenging and exciting! Our professional guide and high quality safety harnesses will guarantee that abseiling is perfectly safe, though. After abseiling you can calm down and enjoy snacks and coffee prepared over a campfire. On the way back everyone will feel like a winner after the exciting achievment.
Excursion to Kivennapa

On this half-day trip to the idyllic Kivennapa Manor hotel you will get to drive quite a long route in varied scenery and terrain. The safari is somewhat challenging so previous experience is recommended but not compulsory. In Kivennapa you'll enjoy a delicious, traditional soup lunch before heading back.
Safari from Kuopio to Tahko or from Tahko to Kuopio
Duration: 5 hours or 85 km

This slightly more demanding snow adventure is the right choice for those with some previous experience. This safari can be driven from Kuopio to Tahko or vice versa. Half-way along the journey you will stop for a delicious soup lunch at the idyllic Kivennapa Manor hotel. The route passes through varied winter landscapes and terrain. At some points you can try out how exhilarating the speed of a snowmobile is! After the long drive you can relax in a warm sauna. We will also be happy to arrange accommodation, dinner or other extra services for you.
Airport safari – A snowy welcome to the Savolax region

Hop off the plane, on the snowmobile and let the adventure begin! The snowmobile safari is a thrilling way to start exploring the Finnish outdoors immediately after your arrival. This safari follows routes suitable for beginners between the airport and Kuopio or Tahko. You will be provided with the necessary clothing for the safari and your luggage will be transported to your hotel. On a break you will enjoy some typical Finnish snacks: sausage prepared over a campfire.

This longer safari is aimed at those with previous snowmobile driving experience. Routes used for the safari are versatile and interesting, as are all the three possible destinations, too. The safari is always tailored according to the wishes of the participants. The three destinations are all unique and we will be happy to tell you more about them all so that you can decide which one is the best for your group.
The price of the safari includes the necessary equipment, guide's services, accommodation in a hotel or a cottage, meals and sauna.
